1. Project Introduction

Qingdao Wangyu Rubber Products Co., Ltd. is located at No. 176, Zicun Road/Street, Liujiazhuang, Mingcun Town, Pingdu City. The project has an investment of 100 million yuan, covers an area of 57,378m2, and has a construction area of 42,952m2. It has purchased 373 sets of main production equipment such as internal mixers, molding machines, and vulcanizers. After the completion of the project, the annual output of 1.2 million rubber tire series products.

2. The possible impact of the construction project on the environment and environmental protection measures

a. Water environment

The equipment circulating cooling pool water (indirect heating) is recycled and replenished regularly without discharge. The main pollution factors of the film cooling wastewater are SS and petroleum, which are recycled after oil separation and sedimentation treatment. The cleaning wastewater from the banbury workshop is treated by the sedimentation tank and returned to the use. After the domestic wastewater is treated in the septic tank, it will be cleaned and transported regularly by Mingcun Town Sanitation Cleaning Co., Ltd.

Anti-corrosion and anti-seepage measures are adopted in key anti-seepage areas of groundwater such as aromatic hydrocarbon oil storage areas, sedimentation tanks, and hazardous waste reservoirs, which have less impact on the groundwater environment.

b. Ambient air

The banburying process is equipped with a gas collecting hood, and the organic waste gas from banburying is collected and introduced into a set of “UV photooxidation + low temperature plasma + activated carbon adsorption” device for treatment, and the exhaust gas is discharged through a 30m high P1 exhaust pipe. The dust-laden waste gas from the carbon black silo is treated by a bag filter, and then merged into the P1 exhaust pipe for discharge. After the dust-laden waste gas in the batching weighing and silo feeding process is collected, it is respectively introduced into the corresponding bag filter (35 pieces) for treatment, and the exhaust gas is combined and discharged through a 30m high P2 exhaust pipe. Extrusion, calendering, molding and vulcanization processes are equipped with gas collecting hoods, and the generated organic waste gas is collected and introduced into 5 sets of “UV photooxidation + low temperature plasma + activated carbon adsorption” devices for treatment, and the exhaust gas passes through 5 15-meter-high exhaust pipes ( P3~P7) emissions. The inner tube mixing, gelling, refining, extrusion, and vulcanization processes are equipped with a gas collecting hood. After the dust-containing waste gas and organic waste gas are collected, they are introduced into a set of “bag dust removal + UV photooxidation + low temperature plasma + activated carbon adsorption” device for treatment. It is discharged through a 15-meter-high P8 exhaust pipe.

The contribution of VOCs in the project’s exhaust gas to the surrounding sensitive points is small, and the primary concentration of VOCs after superimposing the current background value meets the requirements of Appendix D of the “Technical Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment Atmospheric Environment” (HJ2.2-2018). Environmental impact is small.

The project does not need to set the atmospheric environmental protection distance; the mixing workshop, extrusion workshop, calendering workshop, molding workshop, vulcanization workshop and inner tube extrusion and vulcanization workshop need to set a 50m sanitary protection distance respectively. Currently, there are no environmentally sensitive targets within this range.

c. Acoustic environment

The main noise equipment of the project includes internal mixer, open mill, extruder, cutting machine, molding machine, vulcanizer, fan, etc. After taking noise reduction measures such as vibration reduction and sound insulation, after monitoring, the noise at the factory boundary meets the requirements of the Industrial Category 2 standard requirements in Enterprise Boundary Environmental Noise Emission Standard (GB12348-2008).
